We have escalated this issue to our engineers but we need any user experiencing this to reach out to our Product Support team directly. This can be done via support.garmin.com. We will gladly work with…
This is an issue that is actively being investigated by the engineering teams responsible for the Forerunner 945. We will be closing this thread as this is not an issue we can solve remotely via the forums…
A $600 watch should have buttons that respond in a way in which the user can tell that the press was registered, whatever that means. In this particular case, if I'm running and press the lap key, I shouldn…

If you have a good forum, clear, easy to use, what's better that completely change it taking to the maximum level of illegibility? Mission accomplished!
ok mine now has the "odd" moment when the button doesn't click, a second press if I notice it appears fine. All the buttons work so I'm hoping it'll improve with time as everything loosens up a bit!
welcome to the wonderful new Garmin forum
and your choice is, ok or sticky ?
off topic
forum is a disaster, it is not a forum but a question - answer formula
need a linear timeline view, not a social media layout
forum is for helping Garmin users not hiding as I see it now at this moment
happy sporting
Does anybody see a way to have a topic go to the last comment you’ve seen? I guess you can select “New” at the top of the topic but then it seems like you’ll be reading them in reverse order.
Finally able to post!!! Years of asking Garmin to validate me. Agree though that this is totally unorganized atm. I had similar button issues with the 935. Returned it 3 times until finally they just gave me my money back. Buttons never stopped working though. Have had the 945 for a week and so far the buttons are working well. I get a tactile click when I press each of them. Haven't gotten it wet though so my fingers are crossed.
I spent years trying to get my user ID validated to post in these forums so I am just happy I can now do it. Agree though it's totally unorganized at this point. Hopefully a work in progress. Navigation is a mess.
