With introduction of Garmin Pay, I am starting to add a new payment option for some of my apps. The system is not flexible enough to just add Garmin Pay to existing apps, so I'll publish a copy of an app, with the same functionality but Garmin Pay as the payment provider.

The idea for this app is simple:
- Use only large fonts, so that all data are visible at a glance (hence the name of the app: Glance   )
- Put as much data on the screen as possible, without sacrificing font size above
- Make all data fields customizeable to your needs
- Make colors customizeable as much as possible, so users can create their own design

Paid versions are identical to the free version (so no worries, FREE doesn't mean bad!), but have a lot of extra features features:

    Open weather app is not connected to my watch faces - watch face accesses weather directly from OWM (if set to that provider), hence it might have a different location. Please follow the instructions in the FAQ about sunset to get location right: www.mobiledriveway.com/glance.html

  • Hi! I'm trying to access the link on your page for the application settings on the Garmin Forum but I get a "Page Not Found" message.  What I would like to do is to play with different colors.

    App settings (bars, metrics, colors, and more) can be reviewed and changed in the Garmin "Connect IQ" app on your phone or in Garmin Express on a computer.

    BTW, Garmin updated their web site and broke all the old links. Would you please tell me where you found the broken link, so I can fix it? Thanks

  • Pls can u help me: how can i restore my own settings? after a hard reset (fenix 8)  iqconnect only offers me the standard versions but none of mine. i hoped, that my settings was on IQ and i can use it after a reset. but i cant :-(

    i spended hours and hours to find the optimum colors and settings. is there a backup option? not only colors but with own data fields? what would you suggest that i dont lost my settings again? Your watch face is really great, but for me it is not easy to set it up and i'm depressed that i have to go the long way and must recreate my watch face from beginning. Pls help me! :-) Maybe you have a backup and restore FAQ and a link to it :-)

    i'm really frustrated that i did a hard reset and now my settings all gone.

    Bad news - your settings are gone. If you used one of the GLANCE series watch face, you could have preserved a color theme string, but it is too late now.

    Garmin has a whole watch backup - you can restore it, but I'm not sure it will restore apps settings. You can try though. The problem is that with that restore you would most likely restore all the problems that caused you to reset in the first place. But perhaps you can at least review the previous settings and write them down, then reset again )).

  • I purchased and installed the Glance Pro. I was provided an unlock code, but I don’t see where I enter the code. Not sure if it’s fully installed.

    Please enter the unlock code in the app settings, the very first field. App settings can be accessed in the Garmin "Connect IQ" app on your phone or in Garmin Express on a computer.

  • I love easy round. A couple things I would like to see is battery (days left) and battery (percentage) combined on to one complication.  ALSO, high and low tide times locally.
