Hmm, can't find it anymore but when he posted this picture I think it was visible that he was using 2 (garmin) watches... So not sure it was the 955 one which was updating LTHR or actually the other one he was using.

And he mentions in that post 'so either from the Epix or FR955'... Well, I'm guessing it's simply from the epix then.

Meh, I believe he thinks it works and who knows... maybe his actually does.

I actually think it doesn't and he just isn't into this data as much (and indeed, it's the epix actually working making it seem all is ok).

Same with the navigation bug, if you never use the feature it's  no issue for you... If you just don't use or keep an eye on LTHR then it won't be an issue for you.

In the end, these are key features of the watch though and for me personally one of the main reasons for buying it so it not working is pretty hella annoying.

And the fact it's not working for so long now and there are no (meaningful) updates from Garmin doesn't help either

SW14.20 has no relation to LTH. The agent you heard from was referring to something different, involving LTH and the Connect app that was resolved in a previous sw version. We have a different case going right now for this specifically, it is under investigation and has not been resolved yet. I'm sorry for the miscommunication.
