All,
As I'm sure you've seen, we have a fix for this in Beta 15.09. Please see Enrolling in and Learning About Garmin Beta Software Program for instructions to enroll.
I am going to go ahead and…
This is a basic functionality problem in a premium watch that has existed since the release in one form or another. Shame on you Garmin! This should have been taken care of a long time ago by a dedicated…
Thank you all for your comments, we definitely read them and are aware of the on-going concern. We are still planning on releasing a fix in an upcoming Beta. We will make sure and announce when it is available…
I have been missing LTH updates since the 23rd of December (back then on 13.22 firmware, currently on 14.15). I am running with my 955 7days per week, 2 of them being higher HR workouts (tempo, threshold…
Today I did intervals (with HRM PRO Plus) 10 x 200m. Primary benefit: anaerobic capacity.
Aerobics: 3.2.
Anaerobic: 3.4
No LHT update. :-( The last time I had an LHT 12.1 update was when I was doing a guided LHT test.

When was that guided test?
Then again, if the watch doesn't even give an update it's gonna be useless I guess. I noticed bfore that when my watch WOULD give an update syncing over bluetooth-phone/wifi wouldn't work. Only when getting an update on the watch AND sync over cable values got updated.
Ugh...

I know that it is recommended to synchronize only via cable, but I will not do this. It should work via BT/Wi-fi
I did a controlled lactate test today. Before the run I adjusted my maximum heart rate (220 - age) because Garmin adjusts the maximum age. So from 192bpm I adjusted my maximum heart rate to 182bpm. After the controlled lactate test, my values LHT were adjusted from 171bpm to 168bpm and Tempo from 4.41 to 4.46. I synchronized the watch via bluetooth. The values were also adjusted for me in the Garmin Connect application. My maximum heart rate was adjusted again to 192bpm.

Hi Everybody,
I don‘t think we need anymore examples of successful guided LTH tests. It is clear that it works.
What obviously doesn‘t work is the auto detection during normal runs. Garmin-Kevin are you dealing with this?
It would be good to specify what is needed to record the lactate threshold automatically. They certainly won't be easy runs in zone 3 or zone 2.
Garmin-Kevin is Garmin dealing with this BIG problem?
It may also have something to do with the fact that it records incorrectly in the zones. Red 0%
Maybe the watch "secretly" updated my threshold. Previously, when the watch still updated the threshold, my lactate threshold pace was 4:25 min/km.
It still says so on both the watch and in the app. However, my daily suggestion for tomorrow's threshold workout is now at 4:20 min/km
