Hi guys!
After update 12.23 gps track has been disappointingly inaccurate.
Before update gps track was incredibly smooth!
What do you think?
Maybe opaque autumn clouds?

All,
After reviewing the information provided (in this thread and via email) by many of you, I am having a difficult time finding examples of when the watch is recording a GPS position outside of the 3…
In addition to my comment below, we would like to know if any of you are experiencing the symptoms mentioned in:
Not maintaining GPS Lock in GPS Only mode
If so, please comment on that thread.
All,
We have had various GPS improvements since the 12.23 update. After updating to 13.15 (which is the current beta software), are any of you seeing GPS issues either during your recorded activity or…
Then I’m not crazy. I am losing my mind, to understand, as it is possible, that a watch of this kind, does worse, than a watch, much cheaper and with less GPS systems! Today I tried again, with all systems…
Hi Kevin, after updating to 13.21 nothing changes:
Run on 22.11.22 at 19:08 SW:13.21 GPS: Smart; GPS-mode: auto-select, Problem at Minute 1:30-2:00
I suspect we're seeing two different things here.
There is undoubtedly GPS jamming in evidence in the tracks recorded in Moscow. They're accurate until they pass close to certain landmarks, then become…
All my tracks from the purchase of the watch to the update 12.23 were incredibly correct. The Russian special services jams the gps signal in Moscow, but in this case gps track looks different, this situation well known to every taxi driver in the centre of the city.
I don't think that all user of this thread (not only from Moscow) suffer from deliberate state-sponsored gnss disruption. Few posts above user from Italy said about the same distorted track.
There is disappointed user from Scotland with the ugliest gps track i've ever seen (software 12.23!) https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/running-multisport/f/forerunner-955-series/307521/955-gps-is-rubbish-for-running-and-swimming-can-i-return-the-watch
Come on, what is extolled as a holy grail is not. The track itself, in some cases seems to be very precise, but at other times, it loses precision, and not a little, the track goes, in very different places, from where I passed. If it had been a watch a few years ago, without all these systems, without multi band, then, you could really settle, but with this technology, garmin shows, like the Holy Grail, gps navigation, So don’t you think we should expect something, or much more? Then by activating, all systems, plus the multiband, the clock consumes a lot of battery. Therefore, such a consumption, should be justified, otherwise we go back to the old models, we save money and time to worry, that what we bought, at a high price, works as it should work
In fact, there was at least degraded GNSS performance in the inverness area just yesterday when that user posted. who knows why, but there you have it. gpsjam.org/
How about today? I am located in Sofia, Bulgaria and recently all tracks are very bad, especially after the update.
No, your area seems to have been clear all of August.
Mine has actually done about as good as ever the last two activities. Making me wonder if it is more satellite related rather than specific to the watch. The map below is comprised of 3 laps around this trail so that is three overlapping tracks. You can see they overlay and every curve in the trail is depicted the same by each track. This is also heavily forested with a lot of large oaks. The weather was overcast with drizzle and showers in the area
Today is another workout and another crooked track! the weather is clear. without clouds! This issue is firmware 12.23. Garmin-Kevin
