I cant update my garmin 255

My watch have the 13.23 version. How can i update? 

  • If they gave a out a public message I would be fine. I just bought mine but I can't return it. It would really ease my mind.

  • same issue here, stuck on 13.23 and G-Express says I am up to date, not able to install many apps due to this issue incl. Spotify for my 255 "Music" version. 

  • Since you have the music version, you have WiFi. You can try to look for new firmware directly on the watch.

  • regardless of what source for the update I use, G-Express, Connect App or the watch, the result is the same

  • I must be like someone else posted earlier, he talked about a software rollback on the 255. We cant reach the updates no where :(

  • If your watch is still under warranty you should be asked Garmin directly

  • I have a hard time believing that the problem is on our end. (our units) since you can find posts exactly like this on the german forum and on other places on the web going back 3 days! (this is when the most people in here posted about their problems). I find the other posters explanation much more plausible. (255 software rollback). ofc i could be wrong!
    But i've sent an email to garmin about this and i have tried to call but their support is offline for some reason in Sweden.

  • bought it brand new last week, reached out to the support on Friday, the attempt to fix it by deleting particular files from the watch´s internal memory did not work. I was asked to provide logs and my watch´s "Garmin" folder for an analysis, I provided all that later that day. Today I found this thread so I followed-up on the email communication from Friday attaching link to this forum asking for more details - awaiting feedback. But I don´t believe this is an issue on my end given the number of users complaining about the same.

  • Got in touch with the support, still seems little bit of confused but they are atleast aware that alot of people cant download apps and they are working on it. They told me they were gonna roll out a new version on garmin express as soon as it's fixed. I hope we 13.23 stuck people will be able to find it ;)
