Try connecting your watch to a computer that is running Garmin Express. On your watch you can also try going to Settings > System > Software Update
This update will be installed to your device automatically when paired with the Garmin Connect app or can be downloaded from Garmin Express when available for your watch.
I have the same issue. Garmin express is telling me its on the most up to date version which it says is 13.23....... without updating I can't install the spotify app
Then the update has not pushed to your device yet, and you will need to wait a bit longer.
You mean synch the watch with Garmin Express. Which is what I mentioned in the post above.
