Screen Frozen, Not Responding, or Gesture and Touch Do Not Work

i bought a lily a few days ago. as soon as I go to the sun the screen no longer lights up either with the movement of the hand or by typing

beta 4.91 improves the situation a bit. but it is not yet perfect. as soon as I go into the sun the screen goes out. and the watch restarts when I get home. the only improvement is I no longer need to plug in the watch for it to wake up.

I’d love to know the answer… got mine yesterday and twice today stopped responding to anything. First time I thought battery died but when plugged in was at 90%. Second time I didn’t have the charger and started pressing buttons in Garmin connect and it finally woke up but the data it was recording for my walk was incorrect.
I wanted an everyday Garmin w a heart rate monitor built in to complement my 920 forerunner (which is my third Garmin running watch in 15 years). I’ve never had a problem before so this is really disappointing.
