Fenix 8 Amoled 47mm - Battery Drain

Hi,

My Fenix discharges very quickly. 20% per day without GPS workouts and without AOD. That's relatively high compared to my Epix 47mm.
Does anyone else have the same problem?
I hope that this will be fixed with the next firmware update.

Already shared these informations with you weeks ago, enabled logging, still no reliable fix on Garmin's end. Should we trust the brand at all?

Same problem here, with fenix 8 51mm amoled.
PulsOxy Setting -> manuel
AOD off
Gesture Mode on with 4Sec
No GPS activities etc.
Display Off overnight / Red Shift on Touch
Bluetooth Connection to iPhone

Yes, the battery drains even when not wearing the watch.

Anyway, some of these tips are ridiculous:

Turn on the battery saver feature from the controls menu (Controls). I dont buy the watch to be in battery…

I have got the soft reboot to fix it for a day or two until the problem returns. Hold the top left button until it turns off and turn back on. It will then be about 8% a day. The last day i went to bed at 32% and woke up to 5%. Display off on sleep, no AOD, and pulse set to sleep only.

Losing over 20% of battery each day. "Upgraded" from forefunner 945 which could go over 10 days no problem using similar apps/lifestyle. Love the watch, but not happy about the battery life.

Try a reboot and let me know if it works for you, so far it seems to be working for me! Hope it doesn't recur too regularly see 3407488.

Can confirm after reboot battery drain last 24 hours 6% as opposed to 40% in the previous 24 hours per 24 hours. In smart watch mode it should be about 6% per 24 hours. Now update arrived hopefully issue resolved.

Looks like 11.64. I just downloaded it and installing now. I hope it fixes me having to keep soft resetting the watch over and over to get the battery life I want.

Did a soft boot yesterday and it seems like this fixed the issue wit battery draining. It's a lot better but don't think its optimal yet. Hopefully updates down the road will make it even better.

Our engineers have discovered an issue that was causing incident detection to remain after, after being used in an activity. This was causing a significant increase in the battery drain. The BETA software version 11.81 has been released to correct this. So if you are experiencing this issue, you can install this update.

Same problem with the 43mm. Battery lasting 2 days with a lot of things off. My 965 with the same configuration, use to last 10 day minimum.

I am on the latest release as of right now and still get the battery drain after a GPS enabled activity if I do not soft reset afterwards. The bug is still there.
