Fenix 8 Amoled 47mm - Battery Drain

Hi,

My Fenix discharges very quickly. 20% per day without GPS workouts and without AOD. That's relatively high compared to my Epix 47mm.
Does anyone else have the same problem?
I hope that this will be fixed with the next firmware update.

Already shared these informations with you weeks ago, enabled logging, still no reliable fix on Garmin's end. Should we trust the brand at all?

Same problem here, with fenix 8 51mm amoled.
PulsOxy Setting -> manuel
AOD off
Gesture Mode on with 4Sec
No GPS activities etc.
Display Off overnight / Red Shift on Touch
Bluetooth Connection to iPhone

Yes, the battery drains even when not wearing the watch.

Anyway, some of these tips are ridiculous:

Turn on the battery saver feature from the controls menu (Controls). I dont buy the watch to be in battery…

Yes, I have the same problem with the same model in a similar use case. There must be some glitch somewhere. I'm ok to tolerate it for the time being but hoping to see it fixed in the long run.

Same issue, I am seeing 20%-30% battery drain per day with gesture mode, about an hour of non GPS activity tracking per day, pulse ox on overnight.

Not for me. 24 h 8 % lost with AOD. But no GPS action the last days. Display is dark at night.

Also tested with v11.60 and a Device Restart. Problem not solved. About 30% per Day.

Same Problem. Fenix 8 51mm amoled

Oxy manuel, AOD on, Gesture on 4 sec, bluetooth to iPhone.

The Issues started after charging and sync to Garmin express yesterday morning. after full charge to 100% I recorded two activity's (1 1/2 hrs). battery falls to 84% this morning.

First week for me, 80% drain in 7 days, 25% AOD 75% not, GPS activity each day for 30-60 mins, playing about with it more than normal because it’s new and to get settings as right as they can be at the moment. That’s the 47mm AMOLED.

Same problem here with de 51mm amoled. 10% drain in one might wiyhbeco mode and pulse ox on during the night.

Je possède une Fenix 8x Amoled depuis 2 semaines. Tout allé bien depuis son achat. Hier matin j'ai fait la première recharge et depuis je perds 1% toutes les 2 heures alors qu'avant j'étais à 1% toutes les 6 heures.

Malgrès une restauration d'usine, un Maj 11.60 et un rédemarrage de la montre rien à faire je n'ai pas pu résoudre le problème

Je précise que j'ai la luminosité au mini, pas de AOD, temporisation à 4s et je l'utilise qu'en mode "smartwatch".

Je pense qu'il va falloir que Garmin se bouge rapidement pour un correctif sinon ça sera direction SAV pour ma part
