I've done this with my f3hr for a long time with no side effects. I loosen the watch strap and wash my wrist underneath and then rinse. I now do this with my f6x Saphhire.
Do you do this? If not, why not?

Ok Everyone,
I have been trying to stay out of this thread since there so many great suggestions and I love seeing the forum community sharing ideas and helping one another but I need to jump in and ask…
I think your skin would break down long before the seals!
Absolutely no problem with replying to a five month old thread; that's preferable to starting a new one. However, any credibility you might have had from your experience with

Once every blue moon...
I prefer taking it off when I shower and just rinse it with water and some 100% bio coconut soap. Every day I clean it, at least twice, with a dump cloth and wash my wrist as well.
I really can't shower with it, once I scratched myself while washing, so I prefer to stay scratch free.
I also sleep with it.

I enjoy long walks on the beach with mine
Yeah. Now that I think of it, we do everything together.
Lol! It's only because I use that as an excuse to give it a wash most of the time. There are times when I will take it off and put it some warm water along with my specs and heart rate strap. But mostly ti all gets a good rinse in the shower.
At my age, if I take it off to shower the chances of me remembering to put it back on after are slim to none.
I can definitely relate to that!
Sometimes. I've read (don't remember where) that soap and shampoo aren't best buddies with this kind of tech so i give it a rinse and sit for drying.
Unless you wash your hair with solvents and industrial detergents I'm pretty sure your stainless steel / titanium / glass / sapphire watch is not going to come to harm from the use of your Head & Shoulders.
Gentle slower can only do good. It's not an apple watch lol

But we preferer to pay almost 2-3 times more for the screen lottery ticket and then be part of the team of ~~guinea pigs~~ volunteer beta testers and patiently waiting for ohr sensor readings to make any sense and rd pod be of any use... lol
I sleep with it too! My morning ritual is waking up, a given, check my sleep stats, promptly curse that it makes no sense and of no use . I finish curse with a xxxx you Garmin you have baked xxxx.
