I've done this with my f3hr for a long time with no side effects. I loosen the watch strap and wash my wrist underneath and then rinse. I now do this with my f6x Saphhire.
Do you do this? If not, why not?

Ok Everyone,
I have been trying to stay out of this thread since there so many great suggestions and I love seeing the forum community sharing ideas and helping one another but I need to jump in and ask…
I think your skin would break down long before the seals!
Absolutely no problem with replying to a five month old thread; that's preferable to starting a new one. However, any credibility you might have had from your experience with
numerous dive watches…
Yep no problems. I have heard you should not shower in very hot water, becuase it can break down the seals. No idea if this is true though.

I shower, then take the watch off, dry my wrist and the watch, and put it back on.
I agree. A watch made for 100m full submerge I'm sea water (likely what... 30-40 pounds of pressure at 100m??? (I'm guessing)).
Gentle slower can only do good. It's not an apple watch lol
I've gone in jacuzzi with really hot water and steam room for a couple of years with my f3hr. Didn't have any issues. Shrug
Yes, I wear mine when I shower. I will occasionally pull up on one side of the watch to be sure some soapy water gets under it...and then give it a good rinse. I only take it off to charge. I did the same with my fenix 5+ and FR235. I've never experienced any issues.
I have been wearing each successive Garmin 24/7 and shower with it every day. Except for the 310xt because that thing was HUGE. I get at least 800 steps in the shower just shampooing my hair!
Every other day or so. Just rinse off the soap. I always let it airdry after for 15 minutes.
Yes and I mostly take it off in the shower to clean the watch too.
