Weather widget not updating

Hi all, I’ve received yesterday my fenix 6 pro titanium.
I’d like to know whether it’s just me or there are some update issue with the weather widget?

Yesterday while setting up for the first time the watch I could get weather widget info.

Todays I cannot get any into although it’s currently connected to my phone (Android) and I even tried to perform a couple of manual sync.

Anuone else?

From time to time it says "waiting for Garmin Connect" or something similar, but works normally after a while (and for me absolutely correctly unlike some others). This happened to me twice during 1 month I own my Solars.

Yes, it’s the same message I get, waiting for data. But, on my side I get no data. I even tried turning off and on the watch.

So this is now persistet problem for you, no weather data at all since some moment? Are you connected through WiFi or BT? Try both connections turn off/ on and also separately. Are you on last firmware? Is Garmin Connect in your phone updated (sometimes waiting to update from GP or AppStore, so doesn´t take any data from it)? Are you Android or iOS?

I’m on Android, connected via BT of course. I even tried syncing via wifi but nothing changed.
I’ve tried using another Android phone and now it seems to work with this other phone. I’ll investigate further

Turn on location service on your phone and may set at "always." I don't own Android phones, so I don't know correctly setting, but do similar like this as my iPhone, then sync again. See what happen.

both my phones have location services always on and Garmin connect has location service permission activated on both

Did you check outdoor with GPS? As I know from another thread, the weather is not syncing from the phone. from GPS maybe

The first thing I did after first setup was to get gps fix. I knew it was needed for several reasons

I really don't understand why Garmin wouldn't fix this issue? It seems a known problem among many (if not all users) the weather widget isn't working properly! I have been talking to the customer service and it seems they have no clue what's happening!

I don't know why, but in one of my two mobile phones the weather widget is not working. I've already checked everything (background data, app permission, etc).
