Default Music Player

When play music in AIMP, I can not control the music with the Garmin widget from the fenix 3. If i try control the music, another player is launched (listen audiobook player).
How can I control music in AIMP?

This does not working. I launch the AIMP , started playback (or put on pause), but music control not working, nothing happens if I try to control music. Sometimes another media player is started, although AIMP at this time is playing music.

My widget is not working on my watch. I've done several thingst sign out, clear cachec clear datad I've done the update, I've turned phone off and on, if turn the Bluetooth off and on, I've turned the preferred music control on and off. Anyone have any useful information to help me out please.

I have confirmed that the setting for Default Music Player was removed as part of the 4.2 app update. The device will now be able to control whatever media player is currently active on the phone.

Dear Joey, since the latest update my device (Vívoactive HR) does not control the player (Poweramp) anymore. If I had known that I'd have never updated your app. Now the device is even more useless to me than before. Very disappointing, indeed. :mad:

Active music player should be the most recent music/media player used on the phone.

This is a very disappointing option!
I use an App at home to control my media system ...
when i go cycling i want to my Vivoactive to control the music player on my phone not my mediacenter

in previous version of the connect app it was possible to select the music player you want.
Maybe it would be better to make an option if the app should use the alst one used or use a given selected app .

Poweramp works for me (GCM 4.3) but only (workaround) if I start it before using the music control widget.

Who ever did decided to delete the option to set the preffered music player? (It is not backwards compatible!!)

I use an app on my phone as remote control for my MediaCenter ..
now I first have to start the preffered musicplayer (for my connect app) before i go cycling instead of using the control widget to start this musicplayer from my wrist !


So for the development department:
- make the musicplayer selectable (so the user can decide by him/her self):
1) Which musicplayer do you want to use:
a) last used player
b) given player: xxxxxxxxx


As user I m very disappointed
I can not rely on the settings i've set before the update. Also there is no notification about whats all to be changed before we upudate!

I've spent 5 minutes before todays trening to find how to set default music player (i've set it once before) and i didn't found it. After my training i found this topic and i must say im really disappointed,
Not only because i can't set default player, in my case last used player (which is Tidal) isn't recognized by my F3HR.
So right now this function is useless for me.

I have no control over any music player on my phone, even when songs are playing!

Can't you have an option for those who like to select a default player like it used to be and also an auto setting for those who like to have their controls inactive
