I have tried many data fields since purchasing my FR245(M) a month ago and yours is by far the best I have installed. Really love the amount of control you have over the display configuration, header size…
Your datafield is great, wow! Almost perfect, the only 2 things I don't like are:
- I'd love to have current HR at the bottom (which is is possible in current version of datafield) but I'd like to…
Have a look at the documentation: https://github.com/gcormier9/GRun#dynamic-header-background-color
Within the datafield options, have a look at the parameter "Dynamic Header Background Color"
HI, wonderful data field! I pretty much tweaked all the options to my liking, there's just one thing I cannot adjust the way I want to (probably just overlooking the obvious :-/ ) : How do I set the overall background to white as opposed to black ? Venu 2 plus here.
Thanks!
It's actually a limitation with the Venu watch. I'll see if I can make a workaround specifically for the Venu...
Hi flocsy🤠,
Please have a look at the documentation: https://github.com/gcormier9/GRun#pace-range
Pace Range is used to determine if your pace/speed is too slow or too fast. For example, if you configure "Target Pace" at 5:30 min/km (330 seconds) and you can configure "Pace Range" at 15 seconds, it means a good pace will be within 5:15 min/km to 5:45 min/km. If your pace/speed is too slow, the pace/speed is displayed in red, if it's too fast, it is displayed in blue and if it's within the range, it will be displayed in green.

Hello GCorm, Thanks a lot for your great data screen. Since I downloaded I use in every run. Very happy with it. I am not sure if my question is old but not sure whether is really an stupid one or not. I ran a couple of marathons in last months and during the races I carefully updated the distances from time to time with the elapsed dist. button. This made me have a very accurate idea of the ETA, which I was following regularly. Til here is perfect. My dissapointment came when I checked my race statistics in Garmin Connect. Distance there is way longer of the dist. that I have been correcting during the race, and hence, pace is absolutely wrong. Is this normal? Or is there some way to have the corrected distance in the Garmin Connect? Thanks a lot, and hope you can help me. Albert
Hi Albert6789,
Unfortunalty, the correction to the distance made within the datafield are 'cosmetic`only, meaning I am not able to update the data recorded within Garmin. If Garmin allow this feature in a near feature, I'll try to update the code accordingly.

GCorm
I guessed that. Thanks for replying. Regards
