The app is good during a hike, but I wish there were instructions somewhere. The link regarding basic functionality is dead. I see no way to look at the data once it is saved. On my last hike, after reaching…
What watch do you have? You need to get a GPS fix with Hike2 before you can start recording. Make sure you are outside in clear sky, and on many watches, if you go to "about" you'll see either SPE or EPO…
nope, it's really bretty basic. When you start the app, it waits for a GPS fix. During that time you can use "menu" to change some settings, like walk vs hile and background color.
When you get a GPS fix, press start ate things start being recorded. There are a number of screens and you use swipes or up/down to change them.
When you are done, press start and you can do things like resume/save/discard.
Hi, is there an option to show the 1 mile/km time as a notification?
I currently get notified when each mile has been completed but would like to know time wise how long that mile took. I know I can get this info at the end but is it possible to get it on the go?
Your app is my go to when hiking so keep up the great work
Steve
Hi there, I have Venu 2 and noticed after using the App that my Pulse Ox sensor would be enabled.
Its probably best to capture the current device Pulse Ox config and restore it as before the App is running. If Puse Ox is on leave it on, If Pulse Ox is off leave it off.
Thanks.
