Watchface: Glance

Announcement.

I released a new app - EASY+. A lot of time went into polishing the already great design of Easy Round and adding a bunch of new features allowed by latest SDK. Not all watches will support all features, but there is something new for all models. I am delighted with the results - the new watch face looks stunning on my AMOLED watches. Here are some new features:

- Custom colors (all supported watches)

- Gradient time fonts (on AMOLED watches only)

- Radial layout (supported on newer watches only)

- Selectable and scalable metrics font (supported on newer watches only)

The question is - should you upgrade if you already bought EASY Round? Short answer - at this price, yes, it is a no brainer! 

Here is a longer answer though:

- If you have an AMOLED screen watch - buy it. The gradient look makes a huge difference, plus with custom colors you can make it really unique.

- Radial layout and metric fonts might not work on some low level models, but it is not a deal breaker. All main high end watches support it - Fenix 7, 8, all Epix, Forerunner 965, Venu 3, Approach S70, MARQ 2, etc.

- If you have an older MIP watch, like Fenix 6, Forerunner 245 or 255, then all you get is custom colors (in addition to existing list). It is not that exiting on MIP screen, so if you already have EASY Round - stick with it. If you didn't buy it yet - here is your chance to get the app at a steep discount )).

Great watch face. I used the Free Glance for ages on my Venu 3 and also on my Fenix 8. I tried a few other watch faces, but none could offer the same font size / readability and usefulness.

I want to buy one of the paid versions and I am looking at the Ultra, but want to ask a few questions before I decide on it.

1. You say that it is currently the dame as the Dual Screen watch face at the moment. What are your plans for the Ultra in the future? Will you keep it the same as the dual screen one and always release versions of the two together and just have the different payment methods or do you plan something different for each and if yes, what?

2. Do you have any plans to enhance the colour selection for the two middle bars with multiple colours similar to the arc bars?

I recommend going with Ultra - it will have all the features of Dual and possibly a bit more.

The 3rd color is not used for most progress bar types, so I was not planning to add it to the middle bars. But I might introduce some other improvements, like different fonts in metrics (for watches that support it), like I did in EASY+.

You should also try EASY+. It still has a great readability and looks amazing on Venu 3 (and all AMOLED watches):

I was mostly thinking of introducing the second colour on the middle bars. Currently, there is only one colour and I was thinking that having the ability to add a second colour, for example for the unfilled part of the bar could improve the visibility. Only as an option obviously, but it could be nice in some cases, I think.

Color 2 for middle bars is defined by Lines color.

True. This is a workaround, however, changing the line colours changes all line colours, not just the lines that are below the middle bars, unless I have missed a setting to only change the colour of the lines below the middle bars.

Hi, 

Is it possible on the Dual Screen / Ultra to change the AOD font to be outline only, similar to the Big Easy watch face? 
Right now, as far as I can see on the Dual Screen the AOD Time is with a solid font and I can't see any option to configure it.
