GLANCE WATCH FACE app won THE BEST NEW WATCH FACE APP OF 2022 ! At the Developers conference Garmin announced nominees and winners for the best apps in different categories. Glance Watch Face was nominated and won in the best new watch face category Slight smile! The idea for this app is simple:
- Use only large fonts, so that all data are visible at a glance (hence the name of the app: Glance   )
- Put as much data on the screen as possible, without sacrificing font size above
- Make all data fields customizeable to your needs
- Make colors customizeable as much as possible, so users can create their own design

Paid versions are identical to the free version (so no worries, FREE doesn't mean bad!), but have a lot of extra features features:

    I would like to be able to display “surface interval” as a data field rather than altitude for example. I am using the Descent Mk2i watch. Thanks

    Garmin doesn't provide diving data to 3rd party apps. Surface interval is possible to calculate based on your saved sessions, but since mistake in this data can affect your health and even life, I will not implement it unless Garmin will start providing it directly.

    Glance Pro user - LOVE the face! Thanks for developing it.

     Would it be possible to add more color customization to Glance Pro? A hex code color picker would be awesome.

    BIG EASY trobble after Software update on Fenix 7x pro

    I have BIG EASY and GLANCE PRO PREMIUM both! Love it!!!!

    Today come the Software Update V18.14.

    Since that works BIG EASY not correct. GLANCE PRO works fine, no problem:

    -Weather Temperature/Condition (Premium)

    -Weather Wind Speed/Direction (Premium)

    do not work. There ist "NO" on display.

    Can you do something?

    Please enter the unlock code in the app settings, the very first field. It was probably erased by the firmware update.

    Hey!

    Very happy user here, but I've found a bug with the Pro version, that is not present in the free version as I can see. The move bar on my Fenix 7x Pro Solar Sapphire is filling up, but it just reaches the full value and never gives me the "Move" alert and turns into the new color. It clears just fine, but again, I get no notification about that the move bar has been cleared.

    On the free version, I get the correct behavior, the bar fills with green color, then when it reaches the end, it gives the "move!" notification and then turns red. When I clear it, it empties and shows the "Move bar cleared" alert.

    Not a deal breaker for me, but I just wanted to report it.

    Thanks for reporting. However, Move bar is a very basic functionality - it is almost impossible for it to be wrong. Here is the way to test:

    • Compare to the Move level on stock watch faces. For example, when you see mid level on stock watch face, switch to Glance Pro and verify. 
    • Notifications is Garmin functionality. Occasionally I do get reports that notifications randomly don't work with random watch face apps. That is still a firmware issue - watch face apps can't affect it in any way (there is no API for it)

    Hey!

    The problem is only when the bar is full. As stated above, I don't get a change of color when the bar is full on the pro version, but I do on the free version of glances.

    I've tried with the stock faces and it's simply when using the PRO model that things aren't working. Again for now, it's not a deal breaker for me, I can wait until next firmware updated and give an update on if it fixed it or not for me.
