NEWS UPDATE:

With introduction of Garmin Pay, I am starting to add a new payment option for some of my apps. The system is not flexible enough to just add Garmin Pay to existing apps, so I'll publish a copy of an app, with the same functionality but Garmin Pay as the payment provider.

The idea for this app is simple:
- Use only large fonts, so that all data are visible at a glance (hence the name of the app: Glance   )
- Put as much data on the screen as possible, without sacrificing font size above
- Make all data fields customizeable to your needs
- Make colors customizeable as much as possible, so users can create their own design

Paid versions are identical to the free version (so no worries, FREE doesn't mean bad!), but have a lot of extra features features:

    Weird. Obviously there are more people with screen switch problems as I can read in the reviews.

    Yes, there are people who don't want to follow instructions and think they can skip them by watching a video. For all of them, I issue a $100 challenge. If you followed instructions, made sure Garmin wrist gesture is enabled, you can contact me and set up a video call. If you prove to me that there is a bug in the app and wrist gesture is not working, I'll pay you $100. However, if it does work you'll have to pay me $100 for my time.

    That said, I'm affraid it will be easy money for me. This morning I put 3 watches on one hand - Fenix 7, Epix 2, and Instinct 2. I did a few DOUBLE Wrist Gestures, and it worked on ALL OF THEM, like a charm. Still, at least you can see and chat with me - that is priceless!

    Tell me, why not only that wrist gesture stops working after a few minutes but also seconds and heart rate refresh after gesture. For the last two things only one movement is neccessary. A few minutes everything is fine and then it stops. I don't think that I don't know how to do that wrist gesture after a few minutes and that I remember it after waking up the watch or watchface with the buttons. I tried another watchface with heart rate and seconds on gesture, it works fine all the time. That's why I asked if there are several ways to implement that function. Because it's rather strange that I have to do one movement to wake up the watch and a second movement for switching to the second screen. Seconds should work with one movement. And no, the wrist gesture can't be enabled or disabled in the FR245 settings. The only thing I can enable is backlight by wrist gesture.

    You keep asking the same questions. Some things you describe are simply impossible, some can be caused only by the firmware. If you want a personal consultation - you can pay for it, but I think you would be better off investing in a new watch.

    If you find that other apps work better on your watch, please use them instead. I am unable to diagnose and help you with your issues - in my professional opinion they are firmware related, but fell free to ask someone else. Sorry, but I don't have time for this anymore.

    UPDATE. I published an update for EASY Round:

    v1.3 (2023/05/09)

    • Changed wind direction icons - they are more glanceable now
    • Added "Light Teal" color (00FFFF)
    • Added Instinct and Crossover watches!

    Also, GLANCE watch face is now available on Instinct 2 and Crossover watches. Glance Instinct is now merged into GLANCE watch face. On Instinct 2 and Crossover, GLANCE is identical to Glance Instinct. Please switch over when you have a chance - Glance Instinct is no longer supported and will be removed from the Connect IQ in June. GLANCE is 100% FREE and will remain so, so no worries, this will not cost you anything. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Use the Connect IQ app.

    App settings (metrics, colors, and more) can be reviewed and changed in Garmin "Connect IQ" app or in Garmin Express.
    You can also chnge color themes through Customize menu on the watch.
