Watchface: Glance

With introduction of Garmin Pay, I am starting to add a new payment option for some of my apps. The system is not flexible enough to just add Garmin Pay to existing apps, so I'll publish a copy of an app, with the same functionality but Garmin Pay as the payment provider.

The idea for this app is simple:
- Use only large fonts, so that all data are visible at a glance (hence the name of the app: Glance )
- Put as much data on the screen as possible, without sacrificing font size above
- Make all data fields customizeable to your needs
- Make colors customizeable as much as possible, so users can create their own design

I looked through the settings and didn't see a toggle for the new long-press feature.

Forrunner 955 Solar, fw14.20 running latest updates of both watch faces.

I have bad news for FR955 users. I investigated the same issue with another 955 user, and it turns out that widget launch does not work on stock watchfaces either. That means that Garmin did not enable touch interface on 955 for watch face apps. So, the problem is with Garmin firmware on FR955.

Thanks for the quick response, and I'm sorry if I missed if this was already mentioned in the thread. There's no shortage of this sort of thing for the 955, so no surprise. I'll check the beta forums for the defect being reported.

Sir, I use my timer often. Is it possible for you to för example link the seconds marker on big easy to longtouch and I come to my timer? Then I can avoid certain steps when using it.

So if I Longcross seconds directly takes me to timer app on my venu2 plus.

Awesome watch face. Love the glance touch controls now.

With the steps goal arc - as I understand it you can have one colour for less than 20% of the goal and then another colour when you are over 20% of the goal.

Is there anyway to setup so that it's one colour right up until you get to 100% and then another colour once you've hit 100% - so a very visible sign that you’ve hit the goal..

It is impossible for watchface to launch apps that don't advertise themselves as Garmin "complications" (timer doesn't).

You should just assign "Hot Key" to timer - that is what I do. Hot keys are defined in watch settings.

Later on I'm planing to add touchscreen shortcuts to some of my apps (like Universal Widget or Open Weather). But I need to change those apps fist, so they advertise themselves as "Complication".
