Watchface: Glance

With introduction of Garmin Pay, I am starting to add a new payment option for some of my apps. The system is not flexible enough to just add Garmin Pay to existing apps, so I'll publish a copy of an app, with the same functionality but Garmin Pay as the payment provider.

The idea for this app is simple:
- Use only large fonts, so that all data are visible at a glance (hence the name of the app: Glance )
- Put as much data on the screen as possible, without sacrificing font size above
- Make all data fields customizeable to your needs
- Make colors customizeable as much as possible, so users can create their own design

Hi, Great Watch Face! I've noticed that the distance travelled data field is reset on a Sunday (Garmin default new week I think). My watch is set to start a new week on Monday's however. Is there anyway to make this watch face follow the same behaviour as the default Garmin faces which reflect the user setting?

Sorry if it's already been asked / answered I can't figure out how to search the post!

Distance metric is Daily, not weekly, so it should be reset every day

Thanks for the quick reply, sorry that's my mistake! I've only had it on for a few days. A weekly option would be great however to match up with some of the weekly challenges

UPDATE:

Big update for the BIG EASY app - v1.5 (2023-03-06).

Only widgets launching require a payment, all other feature can be used without it.

System 6 features (for watches that received Garmin System 6 update only):

- Launching widgets from the touchscreen (touch screen required). This feature requires a payment after the test period.

- Switching between screens by long pressing on time (touch screen required).

- More current Stress Level and Body Battery (from Garmin complications)

All watches:

- Separate color theme for the second screen. Only stock themes can be chose for the second screen.

- Added Weekly Running Distance metric. It uses complications (System 6), but falls back to System 5 method, so should work on FR245. Took tons of time to sort through Garmin implementation bugs ((

- Switch back to Screen 1 behavior changed. It switches when the watch goes to sleep (screen dims).

- Added FR265 and FR965 watches

NOTES: Garmin touch screen implementation is a bit finicky. It might not respond if the watch is sleeping, or some other unknown conditions. It seems to a bit more reliable on AMOLED screens - on my Epix it works most of the time (but not always). On Fenix 7 you need to make sure the watch is awake, but I didn't figure out yet what exactly it needs. Still, works most of the time anyway. Stock watch faces have exactly the same issues, so it is not specific to the app.

Yes!! Looking forward to get it on glance pro, as we talked about before. Long touch complications is what I want. Like on Google wear devices.

Is this widget thing that? I want for example if long touch on step it to show step summary as when you scroll to step section

Is it possible to add the Status Icon selector on the Glance Dual App? I really love the Connect Dot as an option but that menu is not available on the Glance Dual Screen.

I had to remove a few things to save memory and Connection Dot was one of them. I'll keep your suggestion in mind, but for now it is not in the plans.
