Because I want to keep this datafield and the app free for use I would be very grateful about a small donation to PayPal

A detailed description of how to use it can be found here:

Thanks very much to mcinner1 for putting so much time into this documentation!

  • Thanks for 2.2.1!

I don't know if your EDIT-remark means what I see:

    Worked perfectly with 2.2.0.

(The red and blue arcs on my layout are just to show how it will look like with growing arcs...)

EDIT: At a closer look: yes - start angle is correct! End angle is way off... But it seems, that is the problem you mentioned in your Edit-remark. So, let's wait!

  • Cant leave it that way (-: Just updated to 2.2.2 with correct arcs now...

  • Two questions, where IS 2.2.2, and how do I "activate" Imperial Units?

Oops, question two answer, MUST be BETA 4, then it works in Imperial, at least temp does.

  • Hi

Designer latest version is 2.2.1, 2.2.2 is only the datafield. Imperial units should work automatically when you have set to STATUTE in the settings. Hope I haven't forgotten a value to convert. So, speed, pace, distance should be shown in miles, elevation, ascent, descent in feet and temp in fahrenheit...

    regards

    Erich

  • So by STATUTE in settings, I assume you mean settings on the EDGE?

And....can you help me understand HMs DIY #1, #2, #3, and #4? I pasted my string into #1 in Garmin Express yesterday and it didn't show imperial units. I used #4 and it did. Eventually I'll need at least two layouts, one for trainer indoors with power meter, and one for outside bikes with no power meters!!

Thanks so much for this, BTW.

OH, and this is the most annoyingly setup forum on EARTH. Can you tell me how to simple get to the bottom so I can see the most recent posts without having to scroll endlessly the entire thing every time? The "normal" Garmin forum isn't like this, is it? I DID turn on notifications so if a new post shows up I can click in the notification and see that, so that helps;)

  • Hi

Yes, I check for the basic unit system setting of your device.

The new version with imperial is only on #4 at the moment.

When I add new features I normally upload the new version on clone #4 first. If there are no major problems, I upload the version to the other clones as well. #4 is more or less the testing version for new stuff.

So, as it seems there are no major bugs in this version I will upload it in the evening today, so all 4 clones have the same version.

    I hate this forum too!

But under my first post there are two buttons in the middle (Oldest and Newest). If you click on newest you will see

    the latest posts first..

    regards

    Erich

  • Ah, man, you made my day with that NEWEST button! I never saw that:) I thought I was going to wear out my scroll wheel on my mouse:)

Off to make you a donation so you keep up the good work here.

    Tom

  • Ah, man, you made my day with that NEWEST button! I

...or you click on „2 minutes ago“ (or what ever...)

  • Yup, eventually I'll get the hang of this dog!! Thanks for that tip, too! I never to to Connect IQ/Showcase, I come directly here, so the sorting by newest first is great!
