I notice that HR% in Zone are reset if Resume later is selected, i.e. if an activity is restarted, the HR% in zone is erased.

I just found a little bug (FR 935):

- Start a run with a datafield with "lap number"

- take some manual laps

-stop the run

-say "Continue later"

- Continue the suspended run. The "lap number" is "1" again. The Garmin Lap number continues right.

Hi. Yesterday was the first time in while that I'd used my Edge to navigate a course. My edge layout has Dist. to Destination, Dist to Next Point & Name of Next Point.

Part way through the course I decided to take a different direction so stopped the navigation, however these fields retained the distance values & text at the point where the course was stopped rather than being reset. I was wondering if at some point something could be added to reset these fields is navigation is stopped .

Thanks for the info. The datafield gets destroyed and completely restarted in this case.

In this case with ALL values I calculate myself are deleted. I think it is not worth the effort and memory, because I would have to store all values on the device when stopped. And that would be all average values of every element and the self calculated ones (about 80!).

These values I get directly from the SDK. Couldn't find a flag for checking if navigation is active. I think this has to be changed in the SDK itself.

Ah right got you. I have the MapDashboard datafield on my edge map screen, which has Dist to Dest & Dist to Next & they clear when I stop navigating so just assumed there was something in the sdk. Maybe that dev had a workaround to do it.

I just did a test on my 1030.
-started an activity
-loaded a course: ETA and dist to destination come up correctly
-ended the course (all while activity is running): ok, ETA and dist to dest remain on screen
-loaded a new course (while running activity): ETA and dist to destination were updated for new course!

Thank you. It's not a biggy so don't trouble yourself too much. The course fields do work on the edge unlike the sdk bug for the fenix series, which means they report the wrong destination data.
