  • I have not been successful getting a north direction triangle working.  It just seems to randomly point all over the place.  My settings look like

      I am trying to make this work on an edge 830.  Has anyone got this working?

    You have to be aware, that Edge devices do not have a real compass. Heading north is calculated by GPS when moving forward. So, you only get reliable results when moving under GPS satfix.

    Still standing at home shows random directions. 
    (and yes - DIY direction triangle works fine!)

    I can understand that, however it is still random stuff as I am riding.  So it is not working for me.

    On your mapscreen there is a little north-arrow, too. Look at him - he behaves the same way as DIY north element - at least on my device 1030.

    I cannot imagine, that it is other on an Edge 830...

    On your screenshot I cannot find a problem... Only „Nr. of values = 20“ seems strange, but I don‘t think it is the reason...

  • I have a little problem with "Di2 Gears". The rear works fine. But the front doesn't work well. The front gear number works fine, but I only have problem with the two vertical columns which does not have the corresponding color.

    You've set both front gear chainrings to "rear derailleur index"!

    (Cannot test it... No such equipment available...))

    Could it be because the chainring value 2 at the beginning was wrong with "30, 20, 1" (must be "30, 20, 10")?

    Now: chainring value 1 -> "20, 10, 1" and chainring value 2 -> "30, 20, 10"

    Front gear chainrings is "front derailleur index"

    As far as I can say:

    No problem with DynColors setting, but Front gear chainrings are not "front derailleur index"!
    (Rectangle filled are tied to rear index!)
