Because I want to keep this datafield and the app free for use I would be very grateful about a small donation to PayPal

A detailed description of how to use it can be found here:

Thanks very much to mcinner1 for putting so much time into this documentation!

You can contribute on my github page.
You can upload your layout so others can use it as well.
Also any changes to the fonts.txt can be updated there as well.

  • When you set Arc dyn filled or Rct Hor Filled as the dynamic color for Max cadence then the cadence value does not work correctly always shows 0. I made an example field. Regards

  • Hello,  First of all, I've just come across this and have had a good look at the designer, and am excited to create some custom pages for my Edge 530.  I will be more than happy to donate!

Some questions, that I have genuinely searched for answers to:

    1. I cannot see 3s Avg. Power in the dropdown options of the designer.  This is my number one metric when I ride (mainly TT)!  Am I missing something, or can this be enabled?

    2. Is it possibly to create more than one custom screen, and use, say, *two* of them under the *same* bike profile (within IQ limits, of course)?  Similarly, can the screens be added to more than one bike profile?

With great thanks for this, Matt (Australia)

  • Hi

    Welcome to our thread (-:

You can set the average of every value you add. You have to increase "nr of values". This value sets the value to avg over xx seconds.

For that there are currently 4 clones of the datafield in the store. They are all identical, except for #4, there I upload new versions first as beta versions to be tested. When there are no issues I update the other clones with this version. At the moment they are all the same.

    Regards

    Erich

  • Brilliant mate, thankyou - I thought I had an understanding of all of the variables, but missed the importance of the "nr of values" Slight smile

Yes, of course, this is why you have clones... duh.

    Donation coming, wonderful work, truly.

  • I have now extended the layouts for my bikes (Tacx NEO, MTB, E-MTB) with graphics for time in heart and power zones.
I now have a request: zone 0 should not be included in either calculation - only if other users see it that way and it is not too much work for HM!

  • Hi

Garmin itself includes the zone 0 when displaying "time in zones", because the percentage shown in these diagrams do not add up to 100% because the time in zone 0 is not displayed there.

I think it is correct the count zone 0 as well because you weren't it the other zones in that time.

    regards

    Erich

You‘re right! I never added up the numbers - only saw that zone 0 is not shown.

  • it works on a normal workout. Too bad it does not work for training.
