Watch face with Tide???

Looking for a watch face with time and current tide on it, this would make my rip curl watch totally redundant and I believe sales of the Garmin watches go through the roof. All I can find is a tide 'app' for the fenix 3. I've got a forerunner 235.
Looked at developing one but my limited computer skills is restricting me to not even being able to install the developer program...
Can someone tell me if this watch face is even possible or If anyone out there is working on one?

I had a Quatix 3 which was able to update Tide data through GPS. Unfortunately upgraded to Fenix 5 & lost ability to get Tide updates without Mobile coverage.

New Quatix 6 is also useless without phone coverage.

I agree this would be a game changer & I would definitely upgrade to get it!

Tidal data does not require online connectivity. It can sync anytime finds the phone but in general it can be predetermined for many months.

Further, Garmin Instinct Surf has the watchface we all want on all other watches.

I just paid $700 for a Fenix 6 pro and I can't get tides on my watch face?? My old gshock did it for 10 years on one battery (probably not 100% accurate but good enough)

I don't want to have to open a widget or an activity to see what my local tide is doing. Why can't one of the standard watch faces have a simple tide graphic like on the Instinct Surf edition.

Also why can't I see tides when I am in the surf app? Please garmin put tides in the surf app

For my two cents not even the surfline widget does a good job with tide visualisation.

Please Garmin can you at least make tides data available to the device so I can input into the customisable data fields?

surfline tide is terrible, makes no sense. Garmin has it right in navigator-poi-tides ... but it would be useful to have it in the watchface.

Agreed it's so frustrating that Garmin don't have a quality Tide Watchface! Main issue is that the watch tide function is useless after 6 days offshore without mobile connection!

it's ok to be slightly off if there is no mobile connection for over a week.

I have an MK2 Descent Diving watch, I need to know tides. I have the tide app, I just need it on the watchface

It seems Swell Pro runs just fine on MK2 Descent. Just added support. Releasing later today.

OK version 1.3.9 is up with MK2 Descent support. Give it a go.

And please, if it does not work at first, PLEASE don't downrate!
