It’s been so many year where so many people are requesting a simple feature: Assign Default Gear by Activity Type in Garmin Connect. It’s completely crazy that Garmin closed all forum posts and still the feature is not available. The possible reason for this could be a technical difficulty. But it’s not! It’s Garmin natural behaviour embraced in the company culture to ignore customers requests. And they can even afford to don’t give a simple answer or clarification. The new Garmin Connect is alive and running, so everyone thought that this was a good opportunity to make real improvements.
