I believe a distinction is needed for when Gear is added by default under ‘Other Sports’. For example, Inline Skating still being under the umbrella of ‘Other’ gets these gears assigned, but so does activities like breathwork.
Imagine having to delete gear assigned to every breathwork session you do just so it doesn’t affect the activities count on your skates. To avoid this the opposite is the other option; after every session gear has to be manually added.
