Not updating most recent version automatically

Have you tried to force the update from the watch or connect to Garmin Express via cable and computer (quickest way)

Is it the Music or non music version?

Music version- noy sure how to force update is, but unable to manually update- states the current is uptodate- none availible

Maybe try asking Foreerunner 255 Series forum? forums.garmin.com/.../forerunner-255-series

Same thing is happening to my new 955 Solar. 

Express says up to date but it's on 13.23 which isn't the newest update and cant install spotify 

How can I force update, I've  tried Express but it doesn't show any updates.

On the watch under settings / system/ software update 

maybe that helps 

also try a soft reset / hold in top left button until watch turns off completely then restart it after say 15 secs 

Has anyone found a fix to this issue? 

Brand new 955 has 12.23 and Garmin Express says this is the most recent software so it won’t force an update.

Having exactly the same issue with a 955 purchased this week. I can't use the IQ store, so no Amazon music until Garmin resolve this their end.

Have you spoken to the people at Garmin? Have they confirmed any sort of timeline? It’s ridiculous to finally have decided to upgrade to the 955 just to not have any of the functionality I was upgrading for.
