All,
As I'm sure you've seen, we have a fix for this in Beta 15.09. Please see Enrolling in and Learning About Garmin Beta Software Program for instructions to enroll.
I am going to go ahead and…
This is a basic functionality problem in a premium watch that has existed since the release in one form or another. Shame on you Garmin! This should have been taken care of a long time ago by a dedicated…
Thank you all for your comments, we definitely read them and are aware of the on-going concern. We are still planning on releasing a fix in an upcoming Beta. We will make sure and announce when it is available…
I have been missing LTH updates since the 23rd of December (back then on 13.22 firmware, currently on 14.15). I am running with my 955 7days per week, 2 of them being higher HR workouts (tempo, threshold…
1 Yes.
2 Yes.
3 Israel.
4 HRM-PRO+
Are you sure about that?
haha, suddenly not anymore...
Not that it differs for me as I always run with a strap, but I though it was the case... Still, even always running with a strap it doesn't give me any updates anymore.
Ah well, throw it in the bin with the rest of the bugs and who knows... maybe Garmin will accidentally solve it when trying to add another feature.
Hi, Yes you still need HRM for the test on the 265 - wonder why that is? is it admitting OHR is not really accurate enough? (I did look at that and noticed it) . As regards the values honestly I am not sure how this works at all.as those blues dots on the months stayed flat I dont know if it is just a carry forward or what. I did also use the 955 for a few days in early March still. Back to the 955 now with HRM as well from today.
Lactate threshold is determined from changes in HRV during exercise. While OHr is accurate enough for heart rate, it is not for HRV (at least not during exercise)
Thank for the info!
Is this true for polar verity sense when is connected via ant+?
LTHR detection works using the Verity Sense, but I don't think that is on purpoae. The watch only knows that you connected an external heart rate sensor, not if it is optical or ECG
This is not true. I get lactate threshold values on my 645 using a Scosche OHr.
I've used a scosche for years, and got lactate values no problem on my 935 and then 945. Last update on 955... Never.
