After update 12.23 gps track has been disappointingly inaccurate.

All,
After reviewing the information provided (in this thread and via email) by many of you, I am having a difficult time finding examples of when the watch is recording a GPS position outside of the 3…
In addition to my comment below, we would like to know if any of you are experiencing the symptoms mentioned in:
Not maintaining GPS Lock in GPS Only mode
If so, please comment on that thread.
All,
We have had various GPS improvements since the 12.23 update. After updating to 13.15 (which is the current beta software), are any of you seeing GPS issues either during your recorded activity or…
Then I’m not crazy. I am losing my mind, to understand, as it is possible, that a watch of this kind, does worse, than a watch, much cheaper and with less GPS systems! Today I tried again, with all systems…
Hi Kevin, after updating to 13.21 nothing changes:
Run on 22.11.22 at 19:08 SW:13.21 GPS: Smart; GPS-mode: auto-select, Problem at Minute 1:30-2:00
I suspect we're seeing two different things here.
There is undoubtedly GPS jamming in evidence in the tracks recorded in Moscow. They're accurate until they pass close to certain landmarks, then become…
There are not any changes. GPS fluctuations are still significant, therefore pace and other metrics dependent on GPS are incorrect. I'm going to hike in mountains and i need accurate navigation, i will navigate with my absolutely accurate, reliable and robust Oregon 750 instead of 955.
I also encountered such extreme path deviations, not in every run, but from time to time.
My previous FR245 and Fenix 7S never had such extreme deviations that makes a run more than 400 m longer than expected.
Pace is also completely wrong. For such wrong GPS recordings I don't need a 500€ sport watch.
After analyzing the GPX file of the run with errors, one can easily see that twice some data points have not been recorded - firstly 13 seconds are missing that create the jump to the right, and a few seconds later 62 seconds are missing that create the jump back to the left on the correct path.
It seems to me that the GPS chip software had some problems and rebooted... just a guess.
(GPS Recording FR955 V14.20, GPS V2.37, All+Multiband, every 1 sec)
I have purchased 955solar few months ago as substitute to my 945 watch, for couple of weeks the GPS tracking was perfect, but after one of the updates it really significantly got worse, instead of couple seconds now to locate the satellites it takes up to one minute, also it does not matter which navigation option I use (“only gps”, “all”, etc.) it records the mileage incorrectly (especially during track runs). Hopefully Garmin will fix this issue with next update.
What about another locations? Do you have the same problem when run other areas?
In any location. I didn't notice any principle.
Did you guys made the test with the new beta firmware? GPS software was updated.
The GPS software was 2.37 for the Fenix7 and 2.42 for the 955, both still bugged, specially for water sports.
With the new betas it's now 2.46 for the Fenix/Epix and 2.47 for the 955.
I still haven't done a proper test, but I feel like it's finally solved after 6 months of crappy GPS software.
Brought up again in the current beta forum.
Files are requested (again).

Thanks KrapfenKringel, just updated some info in your post.
Kayak and SUP profiles are still bugged.
Row profile is working.
Didn't test others like Sailing or Windsurf.

New beta, new chance for this being fixed.
