This isn't particularly surprising as they share the same GPS chipset.

Same chipset but not same firmware. 

I believe it's a firmware issue cos I had a F7 before (stolen) the FR955 and it worked properly. Well if it is a firmware issue caused by updates it affected both lines.

It is always from the beginning till 7^th minut in first activity of the day. All next activities have smooth GPS data. But next day starts all again.

By the way, there is no difference if choose walk, hike or other activity using GPS.

Also tried to use all satellite type.

Nope. Kevin ask to show similar routs. I can find many different routs in various areas – all have the same scenario.

In 9841275917, there's a loss of GPS lock as you get near that electricity substation.

In 9731743486, there's a loss of GPS lock in the area around the same highway.

The same happens in 9602570313 around the same area near the highway.

Again, in 9530989976 there is a loss of GPS lock at the south eastern corner of the track.

Have you tried another GPS device to see whether it is also affected in these areas? Given there are three incidents of GPS going wild in the same area (near the highway) I'm wondering if there's something nearby which is affecting the watch.

That the problems started about the same time as the firmware upgrade might be a coincidence.

That is, if we think as you suggest, it turns out that on the way back, GPS should also break down. But it works perfectly. In addition, if I run in any direction, wait until the GPS breaks, then delete the activity and start running again, then everything will be fine. Moreover any actyvity will be with smooth GPS...

This may happen, but our running club runs next to the Kremlin every month. And very rarely GPS breaks down. Although Bluetooth devices may work intermittently - bluetooth speaker or headphones as example, but not sport watches.

Fenix 7 solar has the same problem as the FR 955. Both were using GPS version 2.37. So I updated the F7 to the last alpha with GPS 2.42. The problem persists! 

Did some tests today in sequence, comparing many activity apps while walking in the same path at the same pace. All satellites + every second recording.

Some are not so bad like run, walk, bike.

Others are terrible like kayak, sup, sail.
