      amount of FIT files: 28, total size 2,76 MB

      amount of free memory: 2,36 MB (out of 5,30 available)

      MAC user: no

      Activity length: not really longer than usual

      Activity pause: I had 2-3 pauses but this is not unusual for other activities of mine

      Connection to phone: yes, it was connected; in 99% of my activities it is connected

      I have one activity on my watch.

      I'm not sure if I had low memory.

      It's a long activity.

      Five hours with pauses.

      The watch was not connected to a phone during activity.

      I stopped my watch and then waited several minutes to save my activity.

      2 other activities, i've had same issue on a previous F35 so i'm quite hot on deleting activities normally

      No phone attached during the activity

      few pauses here and there - but no more so than usual (a fairly typical activity)

      2 hours 30 minutes, standard for a Sunday really

      Plenty of memory space

      not a MAC user

      Don't have AUTOPAUSE engaged I do it myself - but as previously stated there were no more pauses than usual on this activity

      When i stopped, saved straight away - no waiting.

      stopped a lot (due to high temperature) throughout the route and this is longer than my normal runs,

      so potentially just pushing limitations of this watch

        I've never had this issue before.

      In the meantime, I plan to remove additional activity files from the watch manually,

      so that I can free up to some space on the watch

      I did notice the watch "glitch" a few times during the run.

        Meaning that the watch face froze for ~10-30 seconds,

       but then seemed to update eventually and update the time/distance correctly.

      deleted almost all the activities, just left with the ones from this week

      not a MAC user

      The activity duration was just my average longish which is about 15km.

      Yes, in between the device was paused.

      The watch is not on auto-pause.

      The watch was not connected to the phone during the run.

      At the end of the run, I paused immediately and save the run.

      For the long list:

        • the amount of FIT files in the ACTIVITY folder on your watch
          • (when folder contains many fit files time for a backup/clean operation)
          • there are 34 activities in there
        • the amount of FREE memory on your watch
          • (when low FREE memory, check above and below answer)
          • Windows says 2,91MB used, 2,39 free
        • are you a MAC user
          • (empty BIN on device while connected)
          • nope
        • was this activity with a long duration or distance compared to previous activities
          • ( long ones use more memory )
          • no, just over an hour run (12K), I do both longer and further runs or bike rides
        • was this activty with a pause somewhere during the activity
          • no pauses
        • was your watch on auto pause
          • no, never used that
        • was the watch connected to a phone during the activity
          • yes, possibly, I have my phone with me on all activities, so it could connect
        • what was your procedure stopping the activity
          • did you stop and immediately pressed save Yes, this may have been quicker than otherwise, would it be better to wait for a while?
          • or did you stop, paused and then pressed save no, just stop and save.
            So, you're in direct touch with someone at Garmin, or should I contact them with this information?

      I already got in touch with the Garmin support, but there was no support on my problem, just a recommendation to use a 3rd party repair software. 

      I already cleaned the activity folder of the watch to prevent similar mistakes in the future.

      It is right that this activity was about the double time of my usual activities.

      The activity has been paused several times, but without using the auto function.

      The watch has been connected to my phone all the time of the activity.

      When I stopped the activity, I did not directly save it, this happened about 2 min later.
