Corrupted FIT file

Hi, I can't synchronise today's activity as Connect tells me that .FIT is an unknown file format ?!!
Tried to do it manually but same issue, also with smartphone version of Connect....

Anyone has a solution ? Thanks

Ah, thanks!! I saw there that a user called pshare had success by deleting the activity and importing it again. I did that, and it worked for me too. I can now see the activity in the list of activities…

I removed 1 timestamp, since it was not in chronological order.

double post

zip your fit files and drag & drop the zip in your post

and after zip and upload report back here

the amount of FIT files in the ACTIVITY folder on your FR35
- (when folder contains many fit files time for a backup/clean operation)
the amount of FREE memory on your FR35
- (when low FREE memory, check above and below answer)
are you a MAC user
- (empty BIN on device)
was this activity with a long duration or distance compared to previous activities
- ( long ones use more memory )
was this activty with a pause somewhere during the activity

These 2 activities did have a few short pauses in them... but no more than normal.

Let me know if this works.

Any possibility you can help me as well? I had a big 25 mile race this weekend and it won't sync, and Garmin Connect won't support the .fit file. I tried using the Online Garmin Repair tool but it won't work.

some advice

contact Garmin Support by phone and tell them about your mishap

get a case number and report that number in the forum
you can help others with building a larger case this way
mac users empty bin when device connected

avoid pausing during activities

clean activity folder on a regular base

I am having trouble uploading my recent run from my Garmin Forerunner 25 to Garmin Connect both via bluetooth and manually via FIT file. I think my file seems to be corrupted. Can anyone help me out? Thank you!!
