      Issue :

      feedback

cleared the ACTIVITY folder with about 30-40 files when I went on the run

-- I've spent about 15 mins looking around Connect/Express and can't figure out how I check the free memory on my FR 25...

      -- I'm a mac user

-- The activity was probably in the high-average duration and distance, not too out of the ordinary

-- There was one actual break in the middle and then a handful of pauses waiting for crosswalk lights

      • the amount of FIT files in the ACTIVITY folder on your FR35
        • (when folder contains many fit files time for a backup/clean operation)
        • 28 files currently - need to clean out?
      • the amount of FREE memory on your FR35
        • (when low FREE memory, check above and below answer)
        • 2.9 MB
      • are you a MAC user
        • (empty BIN on device)

      • was this activity with a long duration or distance compared to previous activities
        • ( long ones use more memory )

      72) https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/running-multisport/f/forerunner-30-35/226106/corrupt-fit-file

      Issue :

      • there was one byte wrong in the file
      • it looks like happening while writing the fit file after stopping the activity
      • the original file checksum is the same as when after repairing the faulty byte
      • there must be many users with faulty data without even knowing ?

original file : checksum                              repaired file : checksum (same as in the original file !)

      feedback

      Lots of FIT files

I'm not sure how to check the memory

I use MAC and now have emptied the BIN

      Not a longer activity

Yes there was a pause during activity

      Issue :

      feedback

I think it's was caused by low battery and/or too many files on my device.

I think it was because I paused it a couple times. I did a longer trail run and stopped to eat/drink.

      Issue :

      feedback

deleted all old files and restored factory settings

now it's happened again, not too long after, so clearly amount of files is not the problem

6 FIT files in the activity folder

      don't use a Mac

it goes straight from the watch to garmin connect on a Samsung phone

      it wasn't a long distance.

      4.7MB of 5.6MB available.

paused a couple of times when running
