hi, sorry to hear about your mishap

while waiting for the repair report back here :

    • the amount of FIT files in the ACTIVITY folder on your FR35
      • (when folder contains many fit files time for a backup/clean operation)
    • the amount of FREE memory on your FR35
      • (when low FREE memory, check above and below answer)
    • are you a MAC user
      • (empty BIN on device)
    • was this activity with a long duration or distance compared to previous activities
      • ( long ones use more memory )
    • was this activty with a pause somewhere during the activity

update : wrong answer .... see following posts

this time not the usual fit file errror, now it only had a wrong fit file checkcum

your file can not be structural repaired by Fit File Tools's section remover (without removing)

    • try it Slight smile

Thanks - but when I do this it shows a massive time jump in the middle. Can this be fixed?

Thanks, It looks fine when I look at it using the fitfiletool, but as soon as it uploads to strava, that's when the pace jump shows up.

Sorry, can not help you with Strava.

Can you see this on Garmin Connect Web ?

At what time and distance does this start.

It works on Garmin Connect Web, but always incorrectly uploads to strava.

    What feedback?

    Lots of FIT files

I'm not sure how to check the memory

I use MAC and now have emptied the BIN

    Not a longer activity

Yes there was a pause during activity

thank you for the feedback, do not forget to backup/clean the activity folder

I was wrong with the first answer, your FR35 fit file has the same fault as with all the others

    • there was one byte wrong in your file
    • it looks like happening while writing the fit file after stopping the activity
    • the original file checksum is the same as when after repairing the faulty byte
    • there must be many users with faulty data without even knowing ?

sorry for all the tech talk Slight smile

Garmin Connect looks ok, for you to check Strave.
