16.13 Sensor issue Garmin Edge 1040 Solar still present

Hi, 

After update to 16.13 bug is still present in my case.

After wake up from sleep I see sensors but when I hit Ride after 10 - 20 secodns sensor are gone :(

    I did some more playing around with the unit and noticed today that if I stop the ride at any point and resume thereafter the same thing happens with the lap screen where it only shows one lap.

    This time cycling through did bring it back, but every time I stopped/paused a ride, the issue would arise again.

    The same here with me, with a fenix 7 pro solar. After starting the 1040, the ANT+ connection is gone. Deleting and pairing again (then only BLE is possible) is successfully displayed, but it takes up to two minutes until the connection is actually established. After the trip, or the following day, the connection via ANT+ is possible again ... a single back and forth ... very annoying

    On my edge 1040 (non solar version) Same happened to me, paused for 2 mins and when I resumed from sleep my Garmin HRM and xc200 pedals (all my sensors) were disconnected and I could not connect them again manually and had to restart Garmin (power off and back on) for sensors to reconnect.

    varia radar , garmin speed , Shimano durace power meter, Di2 disconnecting and reconnecting every 15-20 seconds 

    Additionally edge offers upgrade to speed sensor and is not able to finish update

    For the speed sensor update try putting a new battery into the speed before trying the update again.

    For myself it seemed that turning off Bluetooth on the phone did the trick.  BT seemed from the phone seemed to be somehow preventing the sensor from completing the update (Edge 530).  This has been the case with two sensors and several updates.  With BT on, it just won't complete.  Turned off BT on the phone then just rode randomly for a few minutes to keep the sensor active and communicating with the Edge and its worked every time.

    I spoke too soon. I uploaded a 25 second video file to the above link. You can see that as much as I swipe it back-and-forth from the Lap page, it's still not updating. It seems that there's no rhyme or reason to whether or how it will behave or not.

    Try dragging the table entries on the lap page to force it to refresh.
