16.13 Sensor issue Garmin Edge 1040 Solar still present

Hi,

After update to 16.13 bug is still present in my case.

After wake up from sleep I see sensors but when I hit Ride after 10 - 20 secodns sensor are gone :(

I have provided 500mb of ant logs and pointed out where the issue has occurred in all the logs via email/garmin file uploader and this forum. It is 100% reproducible.

It is about time this MAJOR issue…

the activity can be resumed when the garmin restarts.

But in order to power off the garmin, I had to come to a complete stop, while moving the power button locks/unlocks the touch screen.

Today I had it for the first time in an indoor session! It's ridiculous that it's still not fixed!

It is about time this MAJOR issue on the flagship garmin edge device is given prioritisation (the 840/540 were released as well as climb pro on 1040 - no more excuses)

There is no need to be asking everyone for their data, we have provided enough data already.

Sadly @Karis proved 100% correct in his assessment of where Garmins priorities lie - and it is not with this issue.

I had the issues when the device was first released (got it on day-1), then after the fixes was fine.

Latest firmware has broken sensor drop again: 16.13

Have to stop the ride, power off the device (sleep doesn't work), power device on and everything magically reconnects immediately.

having this problems very often; FWs 16.11, 16.13, 17.09, 17.23, 17.25; different setups, starting with one Garmin HR sensor to many different like Di2 and Shimano PMs

I have the same issue with Garmin Heart Rate Monitor and Di2.

They connect after startup of the 1040. But after starting a ride, both disconnect and need several minutes to reconnect again.

I'm logging my rides for Garmin, but since I upgraded to 17.26 the problem is not showing up.

I also upgraded (and I am also logging ANT tx-rx) but I still have the problem with 17.26. It just happened again this weekend.
