• RE: Fenix 6 pro calculates wrong distance in km.

The topic is not new and has been discussed in several threads. Maybe you read and make your own opinion. Here is an example of a thread on the subject :

  • Putt distances

The ability to add the first putt distance combined with the total putts would produce meaningful info about initial distance and 3 putts. I think 5 initial putt distance boxes would suffice such as:  <5’,

    <10’,

    11’ to 20’

  • RE: Fenix 6 reports distance incorrectly

No there is no solution. You can't turn it off. It can be more reliable than the GPS distance sometimes, but often it's too short. Other brands are doing the same kind of adjustments, but... better. :-)

  • RE: Converting GPS to distance

At least for running I'm sure that the watch is filtering/averaging the points and somehow using the accelerometer when calculating the distance. Even before watches had accelerometers there would be some difference between the watch distance and the…

  • RE: fenix 6 pro run distance accuracy ??

The gps and current pace accuracy in mine is rubbish and has been ever since I bought the watch. Current pace is always slow and drops right off at times, the trace on Garmin connect clearly shows this too. Every run on known distances come in short.…

  • RE: 5x Plus distance accuracy

Even though you may be getting decent results with your speed sensor and applying your formula, I don't think having to buy additional accessories/sensors should be a accepted solution. There should be no reason to do this, unless you need absolute accurate…
  • Distance accuracy?

Just got back from a short run. I’ve been using my iPhone to record my distance for a while now and I just started using the Epix 2 and where my phone said I traveled 1.12 miles (I’ve made this particular little run several times) my Epix said it was…

  • RE: Distance problems: Garmin Range vs Home Tee Hero

I have the R10 and the G80 unit and I set them both up at the same time.  The G80 is pretty close to the right distances but the HTH is always short of that distance.  On the driving range they match up.

  • RE: Distance problems

Well, never mind—I went on my second walk of the day and was short 2 tenths from my husband again.  I am back to thinking it is just a junk watch!

  • RE: Hitting into a net outdoors distances WAY off

I use GSPro indoors only and setting the altitude and the boost in GSpro it gets very close to real distances. Also find that short flop shots work well on short shots around the green. The R10 seems to have problems with low shots even with full shots…
