They really do seem to have fumbled the ball with the G80. Or perhaps not so much fumbled as drop kicked in completely the wrong direction.

Alot of widget and app settings and ALL watchface (other than pre installed) settings are done in the connect app... And whilst I agree we shouldn't need to use the app as much, the point is that the app has these features and function and SHOULD be accessible…
It's pretty simple, as in onUpdate you know the time, and you can know if you're not in low power, so you know if you should return to the default page/switch pages. So what you really do is just use onUpdate() in place of onTimer().
