Our next beta version for the Fenix 6 series is now available!

Please ensure that you are downloading the correct beta software for your specific device.

20.41 Change Log Notes:

Updated the software update process to allow the user to defer the installation. This replaces the automatic install during the user's sleep window.
Improved altitude calibration.
Fixed intermittent issue where device would freeze when starting a round of golf.
Fixed issue that would cause device shutdown when editing HIIT data fields.
Fixed issue where the device would create empty golf scorecards.
Fixed issue where the activity timer could be enabled on the Map-App. (Pro models)

ANT/BLE/BT (Pro models): 6.11
ANT/BLE (non-Pro models): 3.00
Wi-Fi (Pro models only): 2.60

I absolutely second this, I had also sent a feature request some time back... Understand the possible battery impact, however should be the users choise, could be a setting like "standard" (as it is now) or "repeated" as a custom setting

It's the biggest miss from previous "smartwatches", it can be an option of course for people to disable (=leave as-is).

I work in a noisy environment and can't keep on envying ones with 30$ smartwatch... :-)

Exactly, it could be a user setting in System to Enable/Disable "Debug mode". With an improved widget with more data and with graphs. Battery usage graph would be great in combination with other data graphs.

Yep - the map-as-activity is definitely gone so I can go back to calibrate before activity start! It still now asks to calibrate before using the map but that can be skipped should you desire!

I will try this also in this beta thread as I did in some previous (and yes also sent feature request...)

Why not thinking to control the scrolling while looking at notifications through wrist gesture?

I have the privacy setting enable, so I turn the wrist for showing the notification text, what i would like to be able to do is (in case notification is longer than 1 screen) repeat the gesture to scroll 1 page! Then again to scroll further, ... Like emilating the press of the down button throug the wrist gesture when in the notification screen.

Had this on a different brand watch, and as silly as it can sound was very handy many many times.

Would also be nice the possibility to scroll data pages during activity, possibly by double wrist gesture.

about the update ... is there any plan to implement the map update process via WLAN (like at fenix7), w/o using one of apps ?
