Fenix 6X Pro No Wi-Fi Networks Found 16.60

Same as on 16.30, now on 16.60 Wi-Fi does not connect no matter what.

Garmin, can you please fix this, I can no longer use Music services.

After searching for Wi-Fi networks, and get the infamous "No Wi-Fi Networks Found" or the watch gets disconnected from the phone via bluetooth and need to restart the watch, or watch freezes with the wi-fi searching screen and also have to do a force restart of the watch.

Please fix asap.

  • Thanks for the breakdown. I think it will help others as well. Seems I struck it lucky then.

I have Wifi turned on, I can look for, find, connect and disconnect from wifi networks. Pretty sure my BT works as well. Battery draining around 5% per day.

I updated my watch using a charging/data cradle via USB.

    Here's my watch on v16.60.

  • I have battery drain issue and BT is frequently connecting and disconnecting. WiFi is 2.60 and BT is 6.11.

  • I have exactly the same issues as we confirmed as well as the about page with all the versions the same. I haven't had a chance to try the Web updater yet but the only way to fix the watch I believe is to update to a fixed version that hopefully manages to fix the corrupt files.

For me not having  WiFi and garmin express option is not good enough when we pay good money for these watches and a software update manged to completely screw things up.

My fingers are crossed that the garmin team mange to undo this issue.

  • Hey Chris my watch auto updated to 16.70 but the WiFi is still stuck on 655. Do you still recommend I try web updater to see if it can reflashed?

  • Same here. Updated automatically. WiFi firmware still at 655.35

  • I am holding out on the automatic update by turning off automatic update, but Webupdater keeps saying it already has the latest firmware (16.60). Will try again when the 16.70 rollout hits 100%, but somehow I am not optimistic.

  • Especially considering that this update (16.70) hasn't resolved the wifi firmware issue - I would tend to agree with you. Woke up this morning to 16.70 automatically being installed and that issue (core issue) wasn't resolved.

  • Same, first thing I did was to check for WiFi networks. Nothing, checked the patch notes but nothing to do with garmin express or WiFi.

  • I am sorry your Wi-Fi is still wrong. At this point, we recommend your warranty replace your watch. I am really sorry. There is only so much you can do to get the software to take and with whatever went wrong, your Wi-Fi is not willing to correct.
