Fenix 6 Pro GPS Problem accuracy

Deactivate Glonass. Most people get the best results with GPS only. 

Are you wanting pinpoint accuracy and precision? What are your performance expectations?

Probably a little difficult to be that absolute so try the different GPS combinations and see what works best for you. 

However, if you are expecting better than 4m accuracy then you are likely to be continually disappointed and perhaps should continue returning the watch...unless of course you are posting with tongue firmly in check!

So, you are trying to tell me that all the fenix 6 pro do they have a margin of error greater than 4m ? and the image that i attached it's completely normal?  I do not agree 100% with you

I typically see accuracy within 1m in open terrain with GPS + GLONASS. In suburban streets it is usually within 2m, but sometimes wobbles a little further. Even under heavy tree cover I think it is usually within 4m, certainly not much more,  if any.

Assuming you stuck to the road in your photo I have never seen a deviation as bad as that.

FWIW I find GPS only and GPS+ GLONASS to offer very similar results. I use the latter option on the assumption that it will find more satellites in difficult conditions. I have tried GPS+ GALILEO only a couple of times, with disappointing results each time.

Fenix 6 pro has well known accuracy problems. Fenix 6 is even worst than fenix 5. Im not even talking about polar devices as fenix compared to polar accuracy seems to be a toy. I have fenix 6 pro, I send technical ussued qestions to support but they says the accuracy is ok. No. It is not. It is almost the worst of all watches. I tries all the settings. And you just cant explain when Im running with fiends and they trace is normal and my is jumping 15 meters to other side of river or is in offset 15 meters back cutting corners. And it is compared to garmin 5. When compared to polar there is big laught. Polars stays in accuracy 1-2 meters all the time, while garmin fenix 6 jumps 15-20 meters in all directions. This is bug and those so much expensive watched should be replaced. This should not be a toy, people are making serious training with this!! Im just sad and dissapointed. 

Does that happens every time you run in that curve? From time to time such things happen with all devices. But if it does this always, contact Garmin, it needs a firmware adjustment.

no. When you take a look of trace the accuracy is unacceptable. It is even worst than in accuracy tests by bloggers. Which were bad. This watch has serious accuracy issues and if garmin leaves it as is so it is a shame. 

And the riddle is which one is garmin fenix 6pro and which is garmin fenix 5?
