Hello everyone I want to update you that I’ve contacted garmin Poland and they said to me that my display doesn’t look like it should they wanted to exchange a device for me but I’ve decided to returned…
The blue washed out face is normal according to Garmin. Just be aware there are other watches out there that are the same price and same model as yours with high contrast non blue displays.
Luck of the…
I'm with Rob. Return it and get a new one. That's unacceptable.
was set to the basic settings from the box If this helps
It looks good to you. But as I look at the newer thread and the pictures and videos of good watches with high contrast displays it tells me that your watch can look even better.
this has nothing to do with the pictures at all. Otherwise pictures of good displays wouldn’t exist.
Sorry i didnt know that my watch would be so hard to read and Im not a techno person having rime to research all.things. How do you know the unknown. I just thought i would buy the best watch i could afford with the features i wanted. I didnt know the the screen would be so bad under backlight. Now i know but thats because like.others you only know once your affected by it.
Sorry I have the same issue, it will not end well for Garmins reputation if customers start debating the products expectations.
Obviously its a problem in many ways, expectations, reputation , product perception, marketing the list goes on.
Where would this lead to?? A wild fire out of control, frustrations , tension, e.t.c, It has many negative connentations again damaging reputation. If i was the CEO of Garmin I would take a interest just from a potential perspective.
Maybe a public statement from garmin on those expectations and this issue is warrented before reputations both customer and supplier are further damaged.
If it's the glass why my Fenix 6X had the issue with the Sapphire glass and the YouTube video I posted many times has a watch with Sapphire with no backlight issue?
If it was the glass then all watches of the same glass material would have the same screen result.
I locked this since we don't need a new discussion on displays that are or are not working properly
