F6 Solar owners, 2 questions please...

I got lucky to get my Solar from Garmin Czech beginning of September (ordered few minutes after initial august  announcement), so I´m using F6 Solar already for longer than a month. Glass durability was also my very concern but so far I do not regret this amazing purchase and product. My heavy usage 24/7 with running, trial running and climbing (Tatras and Alps) application so far did not impacted new look of Solar. No scratches of glass or body (even I hit some hard surfaces accidentally) at all. Fantastic battery, very accurate GPS and much more tolerable HRM than my previous F3 HR. Go for it...

The 6x solar is an amazing watch and I am extremely happy with it. The solar really works. I did an 8.5 hour trek the other day with a mix of darkness, bright sun and clouds and only used 15% battery which would be unheard of with my 5X. I know that Garmin said don't use a screen protector, but I have a glass one on and it looks great and gives me good piece of mind knowing that I won't have scratches on my watch. It would drive me nuts even if I got a small scratch on such an expensive watch. The screen protector doesn't seem to affect the solar charging either.
