New sw 18.14 Battery Drain

I don't understand why Garmin released this version if in beta program it is fully bug inside....and the major issue is battery drain!!

Anyone has tried to update at this version?

18.15 or higher will come quickly to Public

because next beta quarter will start shortly
because no new Bug Report where taken into account by Garmin since beginning of September, even after 18.15 beta pushed to beta tester
because this version is no more bad than 18.14 Live

Given a major selling point for buying Garmin over Apple or Samsung is the battery life then releasing software with a known bug that severely impacts battery life ... that was one crazy risk/reward decision to make!

That's right. My trust in Garmins software is totally gone. Only way to restore it: next software version in 1-2 months with all major bugs solved.

But that's a dream, I don't believe them anymore.

I've read about solid state batteries coming 1-2 years into smart watches. Then I will switch to a company with reliable software development choose software engineers know how to work out quality software and usually solve issues fast.

Fingers crossed that something will happen in the near future. It is definitely a systematic issue since 18.14 for more than just single users.

I have received today the 18.16 did a restart soft 30 sec hold the light button will charge to full to see if any drain
