I do understand the concern with battery drain. And this is something that Garmin is concerned with addressing as well. It is not a question of how many people are reporting this, but since it doesn't…

I am now experiencing battery drain for the first time after latest update
It appears that the most recent firmware update has caused significant issues, preventing me from updating my devices once again. I am concerned that I may be permanently stuck with version 15.76, which, while functional, does not offer the latest features and improvements.
Garmin's failure to address reported bugs during the beta testing phase is concerning and undermines the purpose of user involvement in the testing process. This lack of attention to user feedback erodes trust and confidence in the company's commitment to delivering quality products and services.

Quite simply: Garmin has not created a ticket. Obviously nobody took care of it. Although it is the most voted bug.

Garmin puts it another way :
"trust is hard to earn, but essy to lose"...

same topic for fenix ;)
Unfortunately you can’t trust the status of the bug report in Beta. Sometimes they have been fix but bug status still says under review and also not mentioned in release notes. What can I say other than garmin is not good at communicating
Do you try this new version?
battery drain!!
...is a feature of every software update beta or otherwise so not, IMHO, a viable benchmark for the status of Garmin's beta programme. There are other issues of standing that have not been, or appear not to have been attended to that are perhaps better indicators of Garmin's approach to fixing problems as others have noted.

As bad as Garmin is they do at least have a forum where users can vent and they do have a programme where users can choose to participate in a beta programme. Apple does have some sort of user forum but is no better at providing feedback to beta testers. As for the other competing companies?
Garmin certainly needs to get its s..t together. The ball has most definitely been dropped!
so the new software 18.14 has make the battery worse ?
Out of curiosity, how bad is the battery drain?
