Feature request - shared settings between apps/widgets/datafields

I would like to see a first-party solution to share settings and properties between apps, widget, and datafields from the same developer. This would allow me to build an "ecosystem" of apps and widgets that share user preferences, instead of potentially requiring the user to input things multiple times in multiple places.

    Thanks for linking it and pointing out the duplicate.

    Disappointing conclusion IMO. Of course there are ways to implement this without compromising security.

    That bug report was started by one of the Garmin folks to keep the requests in one place.  And notice the number of up votes.

    The only thing that's changed since then is the introduction of complications.
