Data Field: Peter's (Hi Vis) Pacer

Description
Peter's (Hi Vis) Pacer helps you to ride/run the perfect race.
This is a spinoff project from Peter's (Race) Pacer, while it has many similarities it took me a while to create as it's a completely seperate code base.
It's different in the following ways:
  • high visibility less data is shown on the screen, which means that it is easier to read - eg for people with bad eye sight.
  • it can be used in non-single field mode, this means you can put it on the same page with other datafields of your choice!
  • It's also optimized to run on Edge devices, this means you can just as well use this field to pace your bike races just as your running races....
Adjusting the race distance
In a race when you are next to the race marker press the LAP button, the distance will now be corrected to the nearest lap position - eg 5.08 will correct to 5, 8.8 will correct to 9. After pressing the lap button the distance will be adjusted and all averages will be recalculated against this new distance figure.
When you miss a lap marker do not worry: do not press LAP and go for the next lap marker.
When you press the LAP marker by mistake you can undo the (last) correction by pressing the LAP button again - within a 30 second window

Donations
The data field is fully functional as is, yet donations are encouraged on the watch by an encouragement text.

    sure thing, it's the purpose to eventually add all watches to the compatible devices list.
    I'm doing all the layout purely in the simulator (my own device is a 735xt) so be sure to report if something doesn't look correct on the real device, then I try to do some fine tuning. :)

    Any timetable for when you're planning to push out an update?

    Hi Peter,

    So far I am impressed. Just wondering if I understood the design correctly. The fields I am interested in are ETA, Ahead/Behind and Adjust Distance. In term of Priority: 1) Ahead/Behind 2) ETA 3) Adjusted Distance. Could I have 3 screens with all three fields separately, i.e. screen 1 with Ahead/Behind, screen 2 with ETA, screen 3 with Adjusted Distance? I don't mind pushing the button a few times, still better than putting my glasses on :-) Cheers, John

    No adding 3 screens with the same field is not possible as you can only do the settings once per connect iq field. --- well I could upload the app several times to the store which would make this possible but I'd rather not to do that as trying to keep in sync the different apps might cause maintenance issue for me.....

    I've been giving your request some thought and something that could work is if I make the big field -- indicated with the red arrow below -- autoscroll at a certain interval.
    Preferably I would limit autoscroling to be between ETA and ahead/behind time only as those fields have the red/green/blue color indicator to show.

    I could add the other fields to the big field as well, but it would be considerably more work for me.... :)
    Can you do a try-out and see if the distance is too small to read when it's in the lower fields?

    - Redesigned layout, color the whole background of Field1 for higher visibility [see difference with image below and 2 posts above]
    - Added support for Fenix5s
    - Added scrollable field carousel option for Field1 with maximum 4 scrollable fields [so that you can show every X seconds another value in the big field, eg loop through Ahead Time, Timer and Distance]
    - Had to remove some features from low memory devices as I ran out of available memory space [Smooth speed & pace and FIT recording had to go on the CIQ1 devices, still available on all CIQ2 devices]
