The app is good during a hike, but I wish there were instructions somewhere. The link regarding basic functionality is dead. I see no way to look at the data once it is saved. On my last hike, after reaching…
What watch do you have? You need to get a GPS fix with Hike2 before you can start recording. Make sure you are outside in clear sky, and on many watches, if you go to "about" you'll see either SPE or EPO…
I've just tried this right now... Turing off "load wps" and then creating a new record with at least one waypoint will overwrite the list of waypoints. But if I don't set a new waypoint at all, the list will not be overwritten, even if I save with "also save wps". So I have to set at least one new wp for the old wps to be overwritten. Is there a way to completely clear/remove the list?
(Or as a feature request for the future: can the saved waypoints be somehow shown and selectively deleted?)
I'm having a weird problem occasionally. I'll start the Hiker app and start out. Everything seems to be working fine. Then I'll feel a buzz on my watch and it's auto saving as a run activity. The graphs show that the sensor data (HR, cadence) flatlined about 10 min prior.
I've had this happen several times but not every time. And idea what's happening? I have a Venus SQ and connect a Tempe sensor. When this happens, I can restart Hiker and finish the hike and everything is just fine.
